In order for the Shade Theory to work, we needed a foundational series of holds that included a wide array of angles, across a full range of sizes - this is that series! The Shade Wedges are a systematic series of holds (increasing in size from a 2-inch to 34-inch diameter, following the Fibonacci pattern). Aside from the 21 and 34-inch sizes, each set includes wedge-shaped holds ranging from 20-90 degrees, in increments of 5 degrees, offering a total of 88 holds! The 34-inch Wedges are made of wood. This series is critical to the Shade Theory and all other series in this family will relate to the Shade Wedges. For the best experience possible, we suggested that any set of Shades be ordered with a corresponding set of the same size from one of the other series in this family. These holds are screw-on only.
